The next version of iBID software reached a key point with finalisation of the overall design and data requirements following work by the design team. Input from users, both individually and at the iBID study days, has been central to the development of the design but a great deal of work now needs to be done to turn the design into a software package that will seamlessly incorporate the data are already collected.

An extensive list of additional features has been added which will be the subject of presentations to various bodies throughout 2011.  It is hoped that by the end of the year the software package will be ready for distribution.

As part of that this development the entire analysis and reporting processes are also to being reviewed and redesigned, again building on the lessons learnt over the last five years.
